Grinty takes the title
Grinty put on a display straight out of the Rule Book for ‘How to Win on Day One,’ posting 36 points and handing Nashy (29) and Tye (27) a distinctly uphill walk to the clubhouse. There was no need for improvisation, countback or faint hope—Grinty’s victory in the Day 1 Singles was signed, sealed, and delivered in regulation. A dominant start that left no wiggle room for anyone else on the podium.
