Dave outpaced Brian with a 30-point masterclass among Knebworth's cunning arboreal traps.
Stableford Championship at Knebworth proved that Dave was not only ahead on points, but also in mysterious knowledge of mature parkland. Behind, Brian provided admirable support—well, from a safe seven points back.
Dave waltzed through the Knebworth Stableford Championship with the kind of confidence normally reserved for those who already know where the 19th hole is. With 30 points, Dave left Brian to reminisce about what might have been, collecting 23 for the runner-up spot. The course—boasting mature trees and enough tactical nuance to keep even an oak guessing—offered a strategic test, but Dave’s golf was as measured as a Swiss watch, sealing the title without recourse to any horticultural mishaps or dramatic countbacks.
