Ace (Glenn) takes the title
Ace (Glenn) swaggered away with the Longest Drive challenge at Pinhal—delivering a 235-yard cannon-shot straight down Hole 11. The fairway may be pine-lined, but Glenn had no need to stop and admire the scenery. Others attempted heroics, but it was Glenn whose prodigious thump secured the round's bragging rights (and possibly a new nickname from the local tree population).
