His relentless march didn’t falter as he rounded the final stretch; 20 points through twelve holes, rising to 25 at fifteen, finally sealing the clubhouse lead on 31 points. While Shanker (Grant) was collecting points, Parks was quietly putting together the best gross round of the day with a neat 95. Not only did he keep five pars under his belt — the most of anyone — but he made an impressive leap from tenth place at the front nine to fifth by the finish. Meanwhile, the duo Con and Parks strolled off with the Blind Pairs overall title, bagging £50 each.

Interestingly, Shanker (Grant) didn’t just win the round; he also claimed the Singles competition prize of £60, while Parks was crowned the Overall Singles champion, netting himself a cool £100. Not too shabby!
